Today we joined several others on a hike to Sandwich Dome, a peak on the New England Hundred Highest List.
ALong the way we stopped at Jennings Peak which has some of the best views for the low elevation. Although we could have stayed the rest of the day here in the sunshine we moved on to teh summit of Sandwich Dome next for even better views. We returned via the Drakes Brook trail which is a gentle descent, but does have a wide stream crossing near the end that you can usually find a way across without getting wet. |

Directions to the trailhead: Follow Route 93 North to Exit 28 in Campton, NH. Take Rte 49 East towards Waterville valley for @ 10 miles to signed trailhead parking on your right. If you reach Tipoli Road, you have gone @ .4 miles to far. |
